Modern Living Solutions isn't your average property management company. We're on a mission to empower people through financial literacy - and the results show. It isn't by accident; with over 20 years of experience, Luis Ortega has experiential knowledge fueling his mission to help people create generational wealth and reach financial freedom through real estate. His mission is to provide the value of education to clients that want to grow and scale their rental portfolios, empower real estate investors by providing the property management solutions they need so they can invest that time on what’s important to them; ultimately, becoming a member of our client’s real estate investing team. 


We handle the heavy lifting, including everything from day to day operations, to renovations to floor plan and design services.

Luis Ortega

Luis Ortega, licensed PA real estate Broker out of Lancaster, PA, is a 20-year real estate veteran serving both central and southeastern Pennsylvania. Having earned a name for himself in both residential & commercial sales, property management, interior design and project management, Luis has become a trusted advisor in all aspects of real estate.   • How do I pay my rent?

    Log into your online portal to pay your rent. If you are not yet registered, please create an account here!

  • How do I submit a maintenance request?

    Please submit a maintenance request through the tenant portal

    1. From the Home or Maintenance tab, click Request Maintenance.
    2. Enter a detailed description of the issue, upload one or more photos of the item needing attention, give the property manager permission to enter with their key, then click Submit Request.
  • I'm looking for a property manager. How can I learn more?

  • If I manage my own properties, will you still place tenants for me?

    We do offer tenant placement services to those landlords who manage their own properties.  With our marketing and tenant screening systems in place, it equips us to find you a quality tenant in the least amount of time with the fewest hassles.  

  • How do you handle maintenance?

    We have a large network of vendors in all categories from maintenance to major capital improvements.  Our technology allows a tenant to submit maintenance requests and even provide photos of the issue online.  We are well equipped to coordinate maintenance for our owners; however, we understand that some owners are equipped to handle this on their own and we offer that option at no additional fee.  We will still always field all maintenance requests and communicate quickly with our clients.  

  • Will I have a problem reaching my property manager?

    We believe that we are a part of your real estate team and we understand that in order to grow and maintain a successful rental portfolio, it must be treated like a business.  In this business you have key players that make up your team.  For example, banking relationships, attorneys, contractors, accountants and most importantly, a property manager.  As a matter of fact, a good property manager should be able to help you build the team and scale your business.   Owners should be able to count on that relationship and being a phone call, text message or email away, is part of our commitment to our clients.  

  • Will you inspect my properties?

    It is our standard practice to provide quarterly inspections for our clients.  An investment property is an asset and protecting the integrity of the asset is pivotal.  When the inspection is complete, a detailed report of the condition, along with a photo package is sent to our owners.  If current or future maintenance is required, or we find capital improvements to plan for, it will be found in the report.  

  • What sets you apart from other property management companies?

    We are a company of real estate investors and we own properties.  We actually know from personal experience how to be successful in this business, what to look for and what to avoid.  Luis Ortega, our broker/owner, is a real estate investment consultant.  He is experienced in evaluating investment properties, floor plan/design and project management.  Modern Living Solutions, LLC provides value unparalleled.
